Collaborating with EcoGrid Technologies, I set out to design Supra, an app that would revolutionize how homeowners interact with their solar power systems. The project required a detailed approach to design, ensuring every aspect of the app—from the interface to the user experience—was meticulously crafted to meet user needs. My tasks included conceptualizing and designing the UI/UX, creating interactive prototypes, and conducting user testing to ensure the app's functionality and usability. Working closely with the development team, we aimed to integrate real-time data visualization, user-friendly controls, and advanced features seamlessly. The result was an app that not only meets but exceeds user expectations in managing their solar power systems.
Process
My design process was a careful balance of creativity, technical skills, and user-centered design principles. Each stage was meticulously planned and executed to achieve the highest quality results.
The process began with creating detailed personas and user journeys to understand the needs and behaviors of the target audience. This was followed by the development of wireframes and interactive prototypes, incorporating feedback from user testing to refine and perfect each design element.
